Monitor Your Eating Behavior

Do you need to lose 10, 15, 25 pounds or more? If carrying even the smaller amounts of 10 or 15 extra pounds may not seem like much, think again. Try lugging around with you an equivalent weight all day. How about a 10-pound sack of potatoes? See how you feel at the end of the day and imagine the impact this extra weight has on your body day after day.

Carrying around extra pounds influences your health and wellness in many more ways than you might imagine. Extra weight increases risk for everything from heart disease to gallstones and may have a negative impact on your sex life!

We offer a great Daily Planner Diet Journal on our web page to aid you in keeping track of your weight loss journey. This Planner includes stickers to conceal that you are using a diet journal! It also includes many helpful hints to help you along the way.

To get started with weight loss many research studies underscore the importance of monitoring your eating behavior. As you become aware of what you eat, how much, and the situations that cause you to eat high calorie and/or less than healthy foods you will be in a better position to stick with your commitment to lose weight with a healthy diet.

Some recent studies reinforce the importance of weight loss coaching either online or in person. Those who have coaching lose significantly more weight than those who don’t.

We also offer one on one coaching sessions. We want you to be SUCCESSFUL!

First Weigh In

Ahhh  gotta love the Grandkids!
My very first day of the VLCD
and I had pizza for dinner!
Sometimes a Grandmother has to do what they have to do!
I don't see them as often as I would like,
so the times I do are special.

But the good news is,
even with "cheating" on my first day,
I am down 1.6 pounds!
It doesn't seem like much but it is a start!

Come join me...
Start your weight loss journey now!

Are you ready for Swimsuit Season?

Are you ready for swimsuit season?

It's hard to believe that it is March already.
Are you ready to shop for the perfect swim suit yet?
Are you ready to hang out at the beach or lake?

No?

It's not too late!
With our HCG Alternative Drops and the HCG Protocol
you can lose 1 to 2 lbs a day!

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Set your weight loss goal. It’s important to set a goal and decide how much weight you want to lose on this diet.
  • Pick your start date. Women should start the day after their menstrual cycle ends.
  • Record your weight measurements to keep track of your weight loss. Measure your chest, waist, abdomen, hips, thigh and upper arm. Record your weight as well.
  • Take pictures when starting and every week after. Track progress by taking a photo at the beginning and a new one each week. You’ll be glad you made this visual record to keep you motivated and to compare “before” and “after.”
  • Start planning your meals. Plan your meals for at least the first week of the diet and shop for ingredients. This will help you avoid temptation and adjust to the new meal plan.
  • Submit photos with a comment or testimonial. We’d love to hear about your results after you’ve completed the program.

Tips for Success
  • Try to make your meals as appealing as possible to avoid boredom.
  • Portion your meat ahead of time and freeze or refrigerate enough for the week ahead to make cooking easier.
  • Buy organic fruits and vegetables, if possible.
  • Read the ingredients of everything you buy. Even a minor variation on the diet can slow your weight loss drastically.
  • Don’t use any skincare products that have fats or oils. Mineral oil (baby oil) is acceptable.
  • Don’t change your current workout routine while on the diet. If you’re not exercising now, wait until the stabilization phase to start.
  • Take photos each week. These photos can become a motivational tool as you watch the physical changes happening to your body.

You will begin to feel these great side effects:

  • Increased energy levels
  • Clearer mind and thought processes
  • Improved sleep at night
  • Feeling less irritable
  • Fewer food cravings
  • Overall improvements in sense of well being

Steak and Asparagus Stir-Fry HCG Recipe

Steak and Asparagus Stir-Fry

Ingredients:
1 lb. lean sirloin, cut into thin strips ½ inch wide and 2
inches long*
4 c. asparagus, stems removed, cut into 1 inch pieces
¾ c. beef broth
½ c. green onion, coarsely chopped
4 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
2 T. fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped
½ med. red onion, sliced
2 T. soy sauce
Procedure:
Steam the asparagus until bright green but still firm, about 2 minutes.
Drain; rinse with cold water to stop cooking; drain again.
Combine ¼ cup beef broth, green onion, garlic, and ginger in a food processor or blender.
Pulse until the mixture is minced and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and mist lightly with olive oil pan spray. Add the
steak strips, red onion, and soy sauce and sauté for 4 minutes, or until beef is nearly cooked.
Add the green onion mixture and remaining ½ cup of broth, bring to a boil. Add asparagus to
the skillet and stir until the asparagus is cooked through, about 3 minutes. Divide among four
dinner plates, serve immediately.
*Note: It is easier to slice beef thinly if you place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes first. I also
use kitchen shears to cut the beef.
